Dr. Tim

Dr. TimWelcome to our web site. I am Dr. Tim the owner/president of Infinity Wellness Center, P.C. After graduating from Chiropractic School in 1999, I had a vision of running a chiropractic office that was a true wellness center. Chiropractic is the leading “Alternative” health care profession and believes in helping the body heal itself with out the unnecessary use of drugs and surgery. While chiropractic is the foundation of my office, I wanted to offer some different services to help compliment the care at our wellness center. This has led me to adding massage therapy, nutrition counselling, and whole body detoxifying services. Check out the different pages on our site to learn more about these other services.

I was born in Wisconsin and relocated to Southern Nevada in 1980. I was raised in a smaller town outside of Las Vegas. I graduated valedictorian of my high school class in 1991, then moved to Las Vegas to attend UNLV. In college, I majored athletic training/sports medicine and was able to work rehabilitating college athletes for 3 years. Upon graduating from school in 1995, I was undecided on my future. I was leaning towards physical therapy school but had also thought about medical school. After graduating I had applied to various schools and decided to get a job in a rehabilitation facility to get work experience and make sure of my decision. This was the changing point in my life.

I was working at a pharmaceutical company on a full-time basis during the day and at the rehab center from 4 until 9. While working for the rehab center I was introduced to chiropractic for the first time. I had headaches for as long as I could remember, suffered from terrible sinus/allergy problems and had chronic neck pain. Because I worked there and was able to talk to the chiropractor, I decided to give it a shot. He told me to stop taking my allergy medication and in just a little time he would get me off the 800mg Motrin I was taking like candy. Shortly after beginning care, I started to notice improvements. My headaches decreased and allergies weren’t as bad. This had such a profound effect on me that I made the decision to change course and head to chiropractic school.

Chiropractic school was a great experience. Part of what I learned was that the body, given the right opportunity, will heal itself naturally. As a chiropractor I don’t treat any specific disease, I simply find areas of “Subluxation”, a chiropractic term for misaligned vertebrae, and restore normal function to the area. This process allows the body to communicate properly and do its best to heal itself. Sometimes the body needs more help with nutrition, exercise, detoxification, and in crisis situations sometimes drugs or surgery. I believe we need to give the body a fighting chance. Too many times people are looking for a quick fix to a big problem and then they find out that the problem has just deteriorated.

If we can find the cause of the problem we have a good chance of fixing it. I invite you to make an appointment for a no cost consultation. With just a little bit of information and time we can try to determine the cause of the problems and present you with a solution to the problem rather than just a band-aid to cover up the problem. We believe in helping the person not just a symptom.

I look forward to talking with you
